The Misuse of Chemistry is a collection of songs written and recorded in both San Francisco and New Orleans. They are moody, hopeful and reflective. The album title is a quote from my favorite environmental scientist Theo Colborn on how our "misuse of chemistry" and pollution is causing us unprecedented distortions in mammalian gender and reproduction capacities. The album artwork was photographed by my beloved boyfriend Rickard, and spruced up by yours truly, Alana Stewart.
released June 27, 2011
All songs written and sung by Alana Stewart
All songs engineered by Andrew "Goat" Gilchrist in New Orleans, LA with exception to "Heaven" which was engineered by Mat Strickland at Hitwall Studios in South San Francisco.
